Special Editions are an additional Driver rarity consisting of exclusive versions of the Drivers included in the current Season of F1 Clash.

Pushing the limits of their stats compared to their standard rarity versions, Special Editions make for some of the most powerful Driver cards available to unlock!

Special Editions are grouped into a variety of themed collections that may celebrate Driver's successes or potential. A Driver can be found across different collections while also featuring different versions within the same collection too.

Likewise to other Driver rarities, Special Editions can be upgraded to increase their stats and boost their performance. To upgrade Special Editions, this currently requires Coins and Legacy Points.

Special Editions can be claimed from reward sources, including but not limited to Crates that feature Special Editions.

You can view your Special Edition Drivers under the 'Driver' section on the loadout screen. Here you can select to view your current Season, your Legendary Drivers or your Special Edition Drivers.

You can not compete in a Grand Prix Event race with a Special Edtion Driver equipped in your loadout unless the Event specifies Special Edition Drivers are allowed.

When a new Season begins, likewise to your other Drivers, your Special Edition Drivers for the previous Season will be locked in your Hall of Fame.
