To upgrade a Driver or Component, you need the required number of duplicates and the required Coins. Receiving duplicate Assets will fill an upgrade meter. Once the meter is full you can upgrade the Asset with Coins.
 
For Legendary Drivers you will also need the required Legacy Points cost as well as the Coin cost to make the upgrade.
