The Veteran Challenges are a series of challenging live content in Top Drives, aiming to test more advanced players’ garages and to reward players who come back consistently every month. Each month will bring a difficult PvE single-player challenge targeting a particular set of requirements and awarding a Veteran Token (along with some other great prizes like slots and packs!)
These Veteran Tokens can then be redeemed in Veteran Prize Exchanges for some great rewards - different prizes will cost a different number of tokens, and the prizes available will change over time - so it’s up to you how long you save up your Tokens and when to spend them! Make sure to pay careful attention to the challenge requirements panel in each exchange to see how many tokens you need to save before you can enter that race and redeem for your prize.
A key point to remember is that your Veteran Tokens are spent when you redeem them for a prize - so, for example, if you have 6 Tokens and redeem them for a reward costing 6 Tokens, you will be back to 0 Tokens. If you are saving for a 9-Token reward then make sure not to consume them beforehand!

- The challenges are 9 rounds long, and very difficult
- The Veteran Token is awarded at round 6 - round 3 awards 2x slots and round 9 awards a Carbon Fiber pack
- The Veteran Prize Exchanges will be live whenever the Veteran Challenge is live
- You will have to think carefully about which rewards you want to exchange your Veteran Tokens for - more powerful cars will take more months to save for, but if you wait too long, what you are saving for may rotate out for another prize
- The Veteran Challenges are available only to players at RQ 460 and above
- The Moby Dick will always be an available prize; the other prizes will be a Legendary-level prize and an Epic-level prize. If the Legendary-level prize is a prize car that has been awarded in the past, players who have ever owned it will have an alternative reward to work towards
- Make sure to check the challenge requirements panel for the cost to redeem in each exchange - but as a general rule, each Epic-level prize will cost 6 Tokens, and each Legendary-level prize will cost 9 Tokens
- The Legendary-level prize will rotate out for a new prize every 9 months; the Epic-level prize will rotate out for a new prize every 6 months - i.e. the minimum number of months it takes to save enough Veteran Tokens to be able to redeem them
A couple of things to note about the initial transition to this new format:
- There will be an Arc Key exchange where players who played the previous format can exchange 2x Arc 9 Keys for a Veteran Token, and 2x Arc 10 Keys for a Veteran Token - compensating them for the time and resources they invested in the old format
- The first three Veteran Challenges will be available to players at RQ 430, 440 and 450, respectively - to ease the transition to the new format
- The first two rewards available (the 1994 Nissan Primera eGT BTCC (P10) and a Carbon Fiber pack guaranteeing a 85-89 RQ Legendary car) will be changed after 4 and 7 months, respectively, rather than the usual 6 and 9 - this is because some players will be able to win those rewards 2 months sooner due to the Arc Key exchanges mentioned above
