For all players at RQ 175 and above, Top Drives PvP Events are part of an overarching season of PvP Challenge Leagues. In short - the more events you join and the more actively you compete in each, the better rewarded you will be, with more opportunities to build your garage every month!
Among the prizes awarded by any PvP Event you will find Flags. These Flags are inside the packs won at each prize tier, alongside the cards themselves. You can spend those Flags in League Challenges, redeeming them for rewards and to progress through the Leagues. The rewards become more valuable, the higher you progress through the League Challenges.
At the end of each season, your progress will be reset, but your performance in that season will determine your starting point for the following season - the better you perform, the greater your advantage in the next season, and the higher you start each season, the further you'll be able ot progress towards the higher-tier rewards.
N.B.
- In terms of how Leagues progress is preserved between seasons:
- Where relevant, the final round of a League challenge will award a token to unlock the next League challenge this season, and the previous League challenge next season. For example, beating this season's Bronze II will give you this season's Bronze I token, and next season's Bronze III token
- In effect, therefore, your progress each season starts from 2x challenges below where you reached the previous seasons - in the previous example, reaching Bronze I this season means you start next season with Bronze III already unlocked
- However, if you go an entire season without beating a single challenge then your Leagues progress will effectively be reset, as you won no tokens for the following season
- The Flags are specific to each 28-days season takeover - so Flags won in one season cannot be saved for or used in the next season
- Fragment items, like Carbon Fiber Fragments or Epic Fragments, do persist between seasons - so if you don't quite make it to the number required to redeem for the full prize, you can continue working towards that prize in the next season!
- At the end of the League challenges lies Frontier - this is essentially an endless challenge with the best rewards available, for those who reach the top of the Leagues! You should not expect to be able to fully complete the Frontier challenge; the rewards are essentially endlessly looping
- All prize tiers will award at least some Flags - except the bottom tier, which you will usually only end up in if you do not qualify for the lowest minimum races requirement
- To see how many Flags are available to be won in an event, just tap the pack on each prize tier - this will open the full pack screens which will include the number of Flags contained within
- At this time, level up events (a scheduled set of repeated events for 330 RQ and below) are not included, and do not award flags
- Each round is trivial to beat - the purpose of the challenge is to facilitate the mechanic of the League rewards - the rounds themselves are not intended to be too tricky!
